Faxing may seem like such a dated technology, and it is. Hardly anyone has a fax machine anymore, and you certainly wouldn’t go out and buy one if you’re setting up a new work station at home. Your office might not even have one, unless it’s built into the photocopier. However, there are some companies that still insist on using them, and unfortunately they tend to be in relation to important documents or urgent matters. There are companies where you can send faxes from, like print service shops, or could even do it from work, but sometimes you just haven’t got the time to go out and find a fax machine you might be doing your admin work at home in the evening when you don’t have any other options. Thankfully though, there are some solutions.

You can now send faxes online over the Internet, without the need of a fax machine. And even better, there are ways of doing it for free. Just search “fax online” in your Internet search engine and you’ll come up with loads of hits, some of which will offer you a free faxing service, although some of the free options come in the way of a free trial. There are even some websites that will rate various faxing services for you, so you’ll know that you’re getting a good service from a reputable provider. If you find that you’ll be sending regular faxes, then you may want to consider paying for an online faxing service.
